What is the Room-based Pricing Model?

Updated on 9th October 2023

You can set the room rate per night according to the room maximum capacity with the Room-based Pricing Model. The room rate will still be applicable although the total guests that stay in the room are less than the room maximum capacity.

The room-based Pricing Model will be chosen as the pricing model default setting when you first register your property on tiket.com.

What is the Occupancy-based Pricing Model?

Updated on 9th October 2023

You can set the room rate per night according to the number of guests that stay in the room with the Occupancy-based Pricing Model. The room rate will change according to the number of guests that stay in the room. The maximum number of guests that can stay in the room must be the same as the room maximum capacity.

Through the Occupancy-based Pricing Model, you can maximize the yield per room by setting the rates based on each occupancy in a room.

You can select the Occupancy-based Pricing Model through the Pricing Model submenu on the Rates & Availability menu on the Extranet.

How do I change the pricing model?

Updated on 9th October 2023

You can change the pricing model by clicking the Change button on the bottom right side of the Rates & Availability menu on the Extranet.

You need to adjust room rates manually when changing your pricing model. If you use Channel Manager to manage your property, use the same pricing model in the Extranet and Channel Manager. Contact your Market Manager if you need assistance regarding pricing models.
